These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Traducciones Notariadas ("we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Offered
We provide:
- Certified translation of documents between English and Spanish (and other languages where stated).
- Notarization of certified translation certificates by a licensed Notary Public.
- Apostille filing with the Nebraska Secretary of State (or other state, when applicable).
- USCIS form preparation as a non-legal document preparation service (see disclaimer at the end of these Terms).
2. Not Legal Advice
We are a translation and document preparation service. We are not a law firm. Nothing provided by us constitutes legal advice. We do notrepresent clients before USCIS, the Secretary of State, the courts, or any other government agency.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment in full is required before we begin work on your order.
- Prices are those listed on our website at the time you place the order.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe).
- Apostille filing fees charged by the Secretary of State are included in the listed price unless otherwise stated.
4. Turnaround Times
Any turnaround time we communicate is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays may occur due to Secretary of State processing times, mail service, document complexity, or other factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by government agencies, postal services, or other third parties.
5. Client Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate, legible, and complete information and documents.
- You are responsible for reviewing the final translation, certificate, and any prepared forms before submitting them to any agency.
- You confirm that you have the legal right to provide the documents you upload.
- You confirm that the contact details you provide are correct.
6. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you are younger, your parent or legal guardian must consent to these Terms and place the order on your behalf.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability arising from or related to the services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of immigration benefit, loss of opportunity, or loss of time. We do not warrant that any government agency will accept the documents we deliver, as acceptance depends on agency policy and complete client information.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
Translations and certificates we produce are licensed to you for your own use upon full payment. Our website, branding, and processes remain our property.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
